Vallée du Rhône

July 2021

The Domaine de Coyeux in Beaumes de Venise is bought by the company Maisons & amp; Vineyards chaired by Isabelle Strasser and managed by Antoine Petrus. This operation was orchestrated by Vinea Transaction Vallée du Rhône.

The acquisition of the Domaine de Coyeux thus expands the company’s heritage, while bringing it a little more luster. The first vines of this vast exploitation of 112 hectares in one piece, date from the 1950s. The domain was taken over in 2013 by Hugues de Feraudy , whose family was already established in Vaucluse in the 10th century. century.

In organic conversion, the estate produces the appellations Beaumes de Venise, VDN Muscat Beaumes de Venise and Gigondas . Ideally located at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, its wine tourism vocation is obvious. New collaborators will join the existing team.

Antoine Petrus, director general of the group since November 2020, affirms it, it is a choice of heart and team. Since joining the structure, the double MOF, sommelier (2011) and butler (2018) is on all sites, at the restaurant “ La Mère Germaine ” and his hotel in Châteauneuf -du-Pape (sale by Demeures du Grand Sud), but also in the vineyards and winemaking. Isabelle Strasser already owns the domains La Millière at Orange (transaction also carried out by Vinea Transaction).
